Mission Innovation (MI) is pleased to support the Transition Summits, 2-day high-level virtual event organised by Climate Action, exploring the industry transitions in 5 key sectors: Hydrogen, Industry, Transport, Energy and Cities.

The Summits, hosted on a professional virtual platform, are designed for targeted audiences to share best practices, network, connect and explore new opportunities within these specific sector transitions.

Mission Innovation will work with the organisers, Climate Action, to drive positive, proactive engagement while bringing together the key stakeholders driving sustainable and net-zero transitions from policy and regulation to innovation, technology and investment.

“Despite significant progress, far more rapid innovation in all parts of the energy system is required to deliver affordable and widely-available solutions across all sectors to meet energy access, climate change and energy security goals as the world recovers from COVID-19. We are delighted to be supporting the Climate Action Transition Summit series to showcase progress to date and explore with key stakeholders what actions need to be taken now to accelerate global clean energy innovation.” – Jennie Dodson,  Mission Innovation.

The Transition Summits are part of Climate Action’s Roadmap to COP26, a series of impactful, action-oriented, and professionally produced digital events helping organisations build momentum to Glasgow, COP26.

“Climate Action are delighted to continue our long-standing collaboration with Mission Innovation across the Roadmap to COP26 programme including the upcoming Hydrogen Transition Summit later this month. Mission Innovation are at the forefront of accelerating the clean energy transition, through their crucial work with 24 Member Countries and the European Union. Mission innovation and Climate Action are working together to build ambitious public and private partnerships which are key to achieving countries net-zero targets”. – Nick Henry, Founder and CEO of Climate Action.

The first Transition Summit will explore the role of clean hydrogen as a key driver of the transition to net-zero. The Summit will bring together over 1,000 stakeholders from across the policy, investment, technology and regulation spectrum to discuss the key action points needed in order to make the hydrogen economy a reality.

The event will welcome industry leaders including Smart Energy, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Group, Carbon Trust, Galp and Hyundai who will share business insights and foster international and cross-sector collaboration to shift towards a hydrogen economy.
